My name is Peggie Robbins and I have the privilege of motivating, encouraging, and teaching your precious child Physical Education this year at Legacy! I am in my ninth year of teaching with the Legacy Traditional School’s family but not new to physical activity. My background includes over six years of teaching fitness classes that included: stability ball, kickboxing, boot camps, step aerobics, and cycling. As a Personal Trainer, I have been honored to be a part of transformations that have helped people to be better than they thought they could ever be! My motto is, “Leaving a Legacy of Health” and I am passionate about helping others achieve this. Some of my hobbies include: scuba diving, rock climbing, hiking, playing volleyball, white water rafting, and camping! I have an amazing husband and four wonderful children; my daughter is an ASU graduate, my stepdaughter is also a graduate from ASU, my oldest son graduated from Red Mountain High School and my youngest son graduated from A.A.E.C.. My kids were always in sports as they were growing up and settled on soccer as a favorite, which lead me into coaching soccer. I have more than ten years of experience in coaching soccer and enjoy it very much! I also love to coach volleyball and basketball. My education backdrop consists of a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from Arizona State University with an emphasis on Physical Education.

I am available to talk either through email: peggie.robbins@legacytraditional.org or by phone: (623) 344-0472. I am excited to be a part of the Legacy family and I look forward to meeting you and your wonderful children!

My experiences in Physical Education for the last ten years have made me an ideal candidate for your school district. I have taught in the Legacy Traditional School district for the past nine years and have experience in roles such as: Lead Teacher for a team of nine, District Lead of Physical Educators for Legacy Traditional Schools, Coaching school sports such as volleyball, basketball and soccer, and initiated community outreach programs designed to help families engage in more physical activity outside of school.

Due to the nature of my responsibilities and duties, I have a lot of experience being a team player as well as a leader in my field. I was recruited by Arizona State University to help mentor future physical educators and have helped students with student teaching at our Laveen campus. This was an honor and privilege to me to provide guidance to future teachers.

My previous experience in the fitness industry also provides an edge in my field of Physical Education. I have taught fitness classes such as: Bosu, cycling, kick-boxing, step aerobics, weight training and Boot Camps. I am currently a Personal Trainer as well.

I feel I am a good fit for this school district and I look forward to the opportunity of talking in person about my experience as a Physical Educator, Coach, Team Leader, and Personal Trainer.

Thank you for taking time to read through my information!

Sincerely,

Peggie Robbins
